I'M AAKANSHA AGRAWAL
Having always lived in Jaipur, I came across myriads of colours, prints and art (after all, we are based in every designer’s dream city) and then my travel for work to different countries introduced me to the world of fashion.
Such experiences made me realize that playing with colours and designs gave me true happiness. It is my comfort zone and my safe space.
So, Gulaal is an amalgamation of what I have always seen around me. A lot of times, the designs are inspired by a mix of both Indian and western culture – but if it’s not comfortable, it’s not fashion. And, that’s the philosophy with which I started Gulaal.
I would like my designs to evoke a memory - a happy one - for our Tribe Members. Whether it's related to our home décor line or our clothes.
I am looking at sharing happiness - a happiness that our Tribe members feel when they touch, feel and wear Gulaal.
